In Kyiv will be presented the report “On the Edge: solution to the problem of inequality and discrimination in Ukraine”
Nearly 250-page report is the result of the collaboration of a number of international and Ukrainian human rights organizations and is the first all-encompassing study of the phenomenon of discrimination in Ukraine, – such announcement is given on the official website of the Coalition against discrimination in Ukraine (CAD).
Presentation will take place on August 14, 2015 from 13:00 until 17:00 in Kyiv. The main speaker of the presentation will be Dimitrina Petrova, an author of anti-discrimination law in Bulgaria, which is considered one of the most successful legal practices in the world.
The organizers recommend this edition for Ukrainian politicians, authorities and other specialists related to problem solving in the field of human rights and combating discrimination in Ukraine, since the publication contains not only a description of the problems, but also suggestions to their solutions based on international experience, which can become a successful step for Ukraine towards European integration.
