In the end of November in Kyiv night club "Pomada" (Lipstick) was held the final event of the contest Mr. IDOL-2014.
First of all everyone had a chance to meet the finalists. The participants appeared before the audience in two images – in a business suit and … without. Underwear Show became the highlight of the evening: the contestants strolled before the public wearing only swimming trunks and the audience could not remain indifferent to this show.
Then UPO "Gay Alliance Ukraine" organized a mini-party for participants and visitors of Kyiv QueerHome. Visitors could get to know the contestants and from this to decide for whom to vote. It was then when the idea of the People's Choice Award was born: guys left all their wishes on a bottle of rare collector champagne, which, in fact, became the prize.
"Pomada" (Lipstick) hosted the final show. The contestants talked about themselves and shared their "rules of life" or, if you prefer, life credos. Prepared in advance speeches smoothly flowed into spontaneous and heartfelt ones that were very warmly accepted by the audience.
The winner was chosen by Internet voting and a special jury, which consisted of a journalist and socialite diva Svitlana Volnova, singer Natanika, stylist and designer Ruslan Zakharchenko as well as perfumer Bogdan Zubchenko and Taras Karasiichuk, executive director of UPO "Gay Alliance Ukraine".
All contestants received prizes and gifts from the organizers. Especially for the contest Bogdan Zubchenko created masculine and seductive fragrance – eau de toilette Mr. IDOL. Each finalist received one bottle of the fragrance and UPO "Gay Alliance Ukraine" provided them with a special prize – a trip to the Carpathians. People's Choice Award was given to Anton Pronin.
And finally, the drumbeat: the winner of the contest is Anton Tesmann, who became the owner of 6000 UAH (Ukraine Hryvnia), got a chance to be photographed for the cover of the club digest GAYD! and, which is the most important, – to represent Ukraine at the contest Mr. Gay Europe.
