From traditional values to saber-rattling: Putin’s regime continues by threatening West

On the 16th of March 2014 in ether of the Russian federal TV channel "Russia 1" a presenter of summary TV program Dmitry Kiselyov, making comments on events in Ukraine, stated that Russia is the only country in the world that is able to turn the U.S. into radioactive ash.

"Earlier the U.S. said that they stop preparation for the G-b leaders meeting in Sochi, which was planned for June. Like, a boycott of Russia, have nothing to talk about. But if it is so why Obama calls Putin all this time? – asked Kiselyov a question and immediately answered it. – Russia is the only country in the world that is actually able to turn the U.S. into radioactive ash!"

The journalist awarded the Order of Merit IV degree, told public about the Russian system of guaranteed nuclear retaliation "Perimeter", supposedly nicknamed in the U.S. "dead hand". "Even if all the people in our command posts after enemy nuclear attack silenced, invulnerable system will automatically send to our strategic missile flight from mines and submarines in the right direction", – announced Kiselyov, noting that since the article about this system appeared in "the official publishing house of the Russian government", Obama started calling Putin more often as well as turning gray – faster.

And on the 7th of March he called; they talked in January and February and Obama continued to turning greyer and greyer. I suppose it's a coincidence, and in fact his interlocutor is rather challenging. Due to the exit polls published on Friday Americans themselves believe that Putin is far more strong leader than Obama. As we can see it on the charts.

They nicknamed it "dead hand" in the U.S.  In general I advise to read it. The main idea is that even if all the people in our command posts after enemy nuclear attack silenced, invulnerable system will automatically send to our strategic missile flight from mines and submarines in the right direction.

Since then Obama started calling Putin more often as well as turning gray – faster. Accidently? But one way, or another, Obama does not want direct confrontation with Russia.

Meanwhile, the heads of our diplomat services Sergey Lavrov and John Kerry were negotiating in London all Friday. On results of negotiations serious disagreement remained, yet the meeting, according to Sergey Lavrov, was useful.

At least at the final conference Lavrov expressed hope that the Western partners sooner or later would realize that the Crimea – is that case we can not discuss apart from its history.

Sergey Lavrov: Whether there are precedents in the international law, or not (and they by all means do exist). Everyone understands this and I declare that the Crimea to Russia … What does Crimea mean for Russian is… And that it means immeasurably more than Komora for France or Falkland for UK. There is such a state as the Comoros, where at the end of the last century a referendum on independence from France was held. And one of the islands spoke against, and for this reason, France insisted on a vote recount, so not to be considered as the total number of voters, not as Comoros residents in general, but to consider each island separately. And for this reason the island of Mayotte remained part of France. What was it – the annexation, or self-determination? I can not tell. The UN and the African Union does not recognize such a decision by France, but the EU quietly lives with this.
